Who is she, covered completely from head to toe,
Her abaya, simple yet elegant, flowing long and low;
The respect she commands and she owns,
Isn’t it all because of the seeds she has sown?
Through blinding sand and searing heat,
She leads her people through thick and thin;
Her passion and love comes from deep within
A shining example, she has always been
She owns the best gift of all,
The ability to listen, to both big and small;
Soft and loud, all voices are heard,
Each and every word
At first she was hidden,
Everything she wished – forbidden;
But now, learning and rising, instinctively smart,
She scales new heights, way above her past
Recognised and encouraged with respect and care
She leads her generations into the future - she is already there;
Her goal is to create, to excel, to achieve,
And strengthen the foundation of the country she will weave
Her culture and values never forgetting,
Always remembering her roots and her upbringing;
Her willpower to attain and to achieve,
Is greater than thoughts can ever conceive
From within her home to the boardroom,
From playful school corridors to the corridors of power,
From mother earth to the deep blue skies and even beyond she flies,
